At the Cascais Yacht Club in Cascais, Portugal, Friendship 40 DHALAIA (Hull 16) won top honors in the 2012 racing season.  Cascais is a superb spot for yacht racing… with consistently strong winds and a large, diverse group of competitive yachts and crews.Winning Friendship 40 owner and crew

There were 55 boats on the register entered in a total of 11 races. Seeing Friendship 40 DHALAIA on top in such a competitive group is really incredible. We send huge congratulations to the owner/captain.

The Friendship 40 is not a race boat, but a comfortable, easy to sail luxury yacht.  And yet she is capable of being in the number one slot out of 55 yachts over a season-long regatta. Makes you wonder why you have to choose – comfortable day cruiser or race boat?  Have both!
